Jamie Winholtz is a fundraising and philanthropy strategist with 15 years of experience spanning major gifts, annual giving, grant strategy, donor engagement, and nonprofit leadership. She helps organizations strengthen fundraising strategy, develop compelling grant proposals and donor communications, and build sustainable systems that support long-term revenue growth.

Jamie has led multimillion-dollar annual campaigns, managed major and mid-level donor portfolios, developed giving societies, and guided volunteer-led fundraising initiatives. Her experience also includes grant writing, donor acquisition and retention, direct response, stewardship, and CRM transitions designed to improve fundraising performance and accountability. Her current work with a national nonprofit organization focuses on cultivating major donor relationships and developing individualized engagement and solicitation strategies.

Previously, Jamie held fundraising leadership roles at United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, where she helped advance individual giving, donor engagement, and volunteer-led fundraising within a complex community-based organization. She also held several development positions with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, advancing from project management to individual giving leadership and overseeing broad-based fundraising strategies, including direct mail and telefunding.

Jamie is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and holds a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from the University of Texas at Dallas. She serves in volunteer leadership roles with AFP Greater Dallas and Verdigris Ensemble and has served as a grants panelist for The Arts Community Alliance. She is passionate about helping organizations build authentic donor relationships and effective fundraising systems and helping teams translate donor generosity into lasting impact.
