RSC Associates Welcomes Myah Shein as Director of Operations & Business Development
Evansville, IN — RSC Associates, a national consulting firm serving nonprofit arts and cultural organizations, announced today the addition of Myah Shein as Director of Operations & Business Development, reflecting the firm’s continued growth and commitment to strengthening arts and cultural organizations and building leaders, systems, and intellectual capital that endure.
In this role, Shein oversees internal operations and leads business development and marketing strategy. Partnering closely with RSC Associates CEO Catherine Heitz New, Shein will strengthen the firm’s infrastructure, expand its national reach, and ensure that RSC’s services continue to meet the evolving needs of arts and cultural organizations operating in an increasingly complex philanthropic landscape.

“At RSC, we do this work for the art, and know it takes discipline and science to make it happen. Myah embodies that mindset and brings the rare combination of strategic perspective, operational rigor, and relationship-centered leadership that this moment requires,” said Heitz New. “Arts organizations are being asked to grow revenue, invest in leadership, and operate with greater clarity and discipline than ever before. Myah’s leadership will help RSC expand to meet those needs in ways that are practical and sustainable, reflecting the same principles we teach our clients.”
Shein brings more than a decade of experience in consulting, marketing, and organizational leadership. Most recently, she served as Managing Director at a national marketing and growth consultancy, where she helped scale operations, strengthen recurring revenue, and build and lead fully remote teams. Earlier in her career, Shein held senior marketing and communications roles with regional theatres and collaborated with arts organizations nationwide, experience that continues to shape her approach to aligning creative ambition with operational clarity.
“RSC sets itself apart by a deep commitment to the arts, paired with an extraordinary track record of helping clients achieve results,” said Shein. “The firm is deeply grounded in what’s working right now for arts organizations – connecting strategy to execution in ways that are realistic, disciplined, and human. I look forward to helping grow the organization in ways that extend its impact while preserving the qualities that have earned RSC its reputation for excellence.”
With Shein’s appointment, RSC Associates continues to invest in the infrastructure and leadership needed to support arts organizations as they navigate shifting donor behavior, growing capacity demands, and the need for practical, actionable fundraising and leadership strategies.
